The CIFAL Global Network is composed of 33 International Training Centres for Authorities and Leaders, all coordinated by UNITAR’s Division for People. The strategic locations of the 33 centres, which can be found across Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Caribbean ensure a global outreach. Each CIFAL centre provides innovative training and serves as a hub for the exchange of knowledge amongst government officials, the private sector, and civil society.

2024 CIF-IFC National Conference
This event provided an opportunity for a panel discussion on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Forest Sector where a presentation entitled "From Disruption to Inspiration" was given to explain the trailblazing efforts of Free to Grow in Forestry that have disrupted certain power dynamics in the sector and inspired so many people with hope for positive change for the future of the forest sector workplace.
Kelly Cooper, President, Centre for Social Intelligence, was recognized for her leadership with the Free to Grow in Forestry Movement and received the CIF-IFC Gender Diversity & Inclusion Award at the National Awards Ceremony! Her ongoing positive impact on diversity in forestry was celebrated at this inspiring event. Read more.
